DIY: Make Your Own Deodorant With 3 Ingredients! **VIDEO**

Making your own deodorant really isn’t hard. You just need a few ingredients and about 3 minutes. Because you are making it yourself, you can control the consistency and the packages. I like to have it more creamy and apply it in the morning just like I would a lotion because I feel it gives me the extra benefit of a morning underarm lymph massage.

The three ingredients you need to make your own deodorant are:

Coconut Oil

Baking Soda

Arrowroot Powder

I tend to use 2 drops of orange essential oil and 2 drops of lemon essential oil as well, but this is optional.

The process is simple: Mix the three ingredients together until you have a consistency that you desire. Remember, if it is chilly in your bathroom the coconut oil will solidify and if it’s always very warm, it will melt. I like it melty and lotiony – but you can use it as you wish. If you like it to be solid, you just scrape off a bit in the morning and warm it up with in your hands before spreading it on.
